Students from Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK) secured the 1st and 3rd positions among the three winning teams at the CII Eastern Region Hackathon 2026. The winners were felicitated and showcased their products and solutions to industry leaders, technology experts and fellow participants at the 25th edition of ICT East, held on 24 September 2026 at ITC Sonar, Kolkata.

Two more HITK robotics teams showcase prototypes at the 25th edition of ICT East.
In addition to the winning teams, two other HITK student teams working on robotics-based projects were selected to exhibit their prototypes at ICT East 2026. One of these teams is associated with Bengal Dynamics, a student startup, reflecting how student ideas at the institute are growing into entrepreneurial ventures.
