They are among the most amazing creatures on earth, with wing colours andpatterns so gorgeous that it looks unreal. Butterflies are vital to the planet’s health and also an indicator of it. Delhi has more than 100 species of them, and despite the expanding urban concrete jungle, there are still many areas that attract large numbers of these stunning insects. Celebrate the arrival of winter with the event ‘Breakfast with Butterflies’, being organised by the Conservation Education Centre of BNHS (Bombay Natural History Society) on November 23, 2014. The interactive programme is a combination of outdoor and indoor sessions themed on butterflies, which will be highly interactive.
