We’ve known it as the only branded retail chain of florists in India. But Ferns and
Petals also has a foot in the wedding industry, offering a one-stop shop for all wedding services including venue selection, catering, decor and guest accommodation. They have an in-house floral division for elaborate flower arrangements and design professionals to fabricate pandals. They have introduced the concept of thematic decor ranging from traditional Indian to Italian, Arabian, Carribean, Spanish, Roman and Egyptian. One business family even chose to have a different theme for each function: a Roman sangeet, a Moroccan evening get-together and a Rajasthani mehndi. Now fnp is offering something new: holiday weddings. The idea here is to whisk away close friends and relatives of the bride and the groom to a destination where they can celebrate the day and have a holiday as well. Goa, Kerala, Himalayan resorts or even Mauritius: the choice here is quite wide-ranging. And the price: it all depends on the destination but could go up to Rs 50 lakh for 200 guests. This includes transportation, 5-star accommodation, decor and the feast. The itinerary normally extends for three-four days.
