After all the hype and six Academy Awards, this one's Shyamalan's second thriller with Bruce Willis playing David Dunne, the sole survivor of a devastating train accident. He meets the mysterious Elijah Price (Samuel Jackson), a dealer in comic book art, also called Mr Glass for his exactly opposite physicalities his bones tend to snap like twigs. The two meet and the sparks fly Price gives Dunne a bizarre, rather supernatural, explanation for why he survived the accident. And thus unfolds, slowly and mysteriously, the conflict in Dunne's life.
A typical Shyamalan film—the same eeriness of the supernatural which made The Sixth Sense a runaway success and the same twist at the end.
