There are 410 Asiatic lions and approximately 300 tigers in Indian zoos. According to the Central Zoo Authority, no zoo should have more than 10 carnivores and 20 herbivores of any species.

16 tigers
Bhubaneshwar :
56 tigers (before the death of 12 of them)
Guwahati:
4 tigers, 10 leopards, 40 leopard cats, 4 lions

27 lions, 5 tigers Bannerghata, Karnataka: 25 tigers
