When you have a negative agenda, nothing seems beyond the pale. An Indo-Pak battle is brewing in Louisiana, where Bobby Jindal is close to becoming the first Indian American governor in the US. True to form, albeit a bit belatedly, Pakistani Americans have now launched a campaign against him. They’re supporting his Democrat rival Kathleen Blanco, painting her as immigrant-friendly. The Pakistani American Congress has also managed to raise a modest $50,000. The organisation’s president Ashraf Abbasi said Muslims see Jindal as "a highly prejudiced person who could be a threat for Pakistani interests in the US". He claims Louisiana’s Pakistani Americans see "Jindal as a tool of the Ku Klux Klan".
