How does it feel to be married?
Absolutely wonderful. It's a different kind of a feeling. I feel settled now.

Has life changed in any way?
Definitely. I now have responsibilities beyond my mom and sister.

Your wedding was a big affair.
It was exhilarating, unbelievable. It was planned as an intimate event which eventually became quite chaotic. I wanted it to be a small affair. But I couldn't stop my family from inviting all their friends.

Was it any different from the shaadis you've done on the screen?
Believe me, it is. I always used to wonder if my real marriage will be any different from playing the bride on screen. Now I can say they are two completely different feelings. There was no retake this time.

Have you shifted to Delhi full time?
Our home in Delhi is being done up. We move in only after that. It's a new phase in life for me. In fact, it's more than a phase. You could call it a new era, a new journey.

You think you've changed as a person?
Marriage is a beautiful feeling and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Of course, my responsibilities are different now. But I haven't changed one bit.

You plan to continue with films?
I'm still serious about my career.

Any interest in your husband's business?
It's still too soon to say.

How's Sunjay taking your celebrity status?
He's gradually getting used to the uniqueness of the film industry. But he isn't much of a film buff.

Marriage has come at the right time?
Definitely. I am discovering a new happiness these days. I am at peace with myself now.
