How do you like your coffee?

Like my life—strong!

Why do you do so many things—directing, producing, anchoring TV shows?

Maybe this is a personality disorder.

How is it to juggle relationships with friends who work with you?

I feel it is tough.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

Making movies and working with new talent both in the acting and direction departments. I want to see Dharma Productions on the map in a big way. I want to provide lots of entertainment via cinema that makes a difference. I hope in 10 years my firm is known for great cinema.

And personally speaking, where do you see yourself in ten years?

Hopefully, I would be happy in my own skin. I want to make different films. My evolution has started with My Name is Khan. It is a film in a different domain. I tried something new despite not being familiar with it. I want to work with different people and be recognised as a filmmaker who can make a difference.

Ok, time for the rapid-fire round. Kajol or Kareena—your favourite heroine?

Very difficult but I would prefer Kajol. The preference is based on seniority.

The most beautiful and talented actress...

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She is the most beautiful, stunning and enigmatic actress. She has a superb presence, both on and off celluloid. She possesses a tremendous aura.

One actor that you wish to work with?

Aamir Khan.

The cold war between Ram Gopal Varma and Karan: a) Will end b) not end

It has already ended. Now it’s just fun.

RGV keeps talking about you because...

I think that’s the only way he gets heard.
