Mirroring the grisly find in Nithari, four decomposed bodies of children were recovered on January 9 from an abandoned godown in Muktsar, Punjab. The godown is owned by Congress leader Jagmit Singh Brar.

The Hyderabad Trio
Pavan, Ramulu and Venkatesh were arrested on January 2 for sexually assaulting young men and then torturing and killing them. The three confessed to nine murders.
