Internet’s Helping Man Beat Wendy’s 18-Million Retweet Challenge For A Year’s Free Supply Of Nuggets

Carter currently stands at 2.4 million, almost four fifths of the way from eclipsing a tweet with all of Hollywood’s A-List elite and breaking that record

There’s a lot going on in the world, but the internet (specifically Twitter) is currently helping one dude get a year’s supply of chicken nuggets from Wendy’s.

Carter Wilkerson from Reno, Nevada, really likes his chicken nuggets; it says so on his Twitter Bio.

Less than a week ago, Carter tweeted to Wendy’s, asking how many re-tweets he would need for a year supply of nuggets. Then this happened.

Wendy’s asked Carter to garner a massive 18 million re-tweets, a feat no one has yet achieved. The most re-tweeted tweet is that of Ellen DeGeneres, and it has 3.2 million shares.

Carter currently stands at 2.4 million, almost four-fifth of the way from eclipsing a tweet with all of Hollywood’s A-List elite and breaking that record. The 18 million mark has been daunting, but social media and the internet have been helping out.

Even Wendy’s is looking on in surprise.

And it’s turning into quite a ride for Carter. John Legere, USA’s CEO for TMobile had this offer for him.

Victoria’s Secret model Martha Hunt extended an invitation for ice-cream and he even has a T-Shirt dedicated to the campaign.

And finally, there is this dude who helped out everyone by doing the math for Wendy’s, Carter, and us.

The maths says it's win-win situation for all.
