Hours before the counting of votes for the Gujarat assembly election began, confident chief minister Vijay Rupani said the BJP would garner more than 150 seats. But on Monday, as results started coming in, it turned out that the party even failed to cross the 115-seat mark it won in the last election. Nonetheless, a victory is a victory and even Rupani knows the credit for it goes to party’s biggest posterboy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
