Pakistani actor Hania Aamir is part of the cast of Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa starrer Sardaar Ji 3, the latest instalment in the popular Punjabi horror-comedy franchise. On Sunday, Diljit unveiled the trailer for Sardaar Ji 3, on his Instagram handle. The first scene of the trailer introduces Hania Aamir with Diljit, wearing an orange saree. The film's release date was also announced alongside the trailer. However, there is a twist. Diljit wrote that the film will release only overseas on June 27, which means makers have skipped its India release, amid rising Indo‑Pak tensions and FWICE objections.

Diljit Dosanjh shared Sardaar Ji 3 trailer on his Instagram handle and also announced the film's release date. He has been trolled on social media for working with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir.
"Sardaar Ji 3 Releasing 27th June OVERSEAS Only 🌍 FADH LAO BHOOND DIAN LATTAN," wrote Diljit Dosanjh, sharing the Sardaar Ji 3 trailer.
Sardaar Ji 3 trailer's YouTube link has been geo-blocked in India. "The uploader has not made this video available in your country," read the message on the platform. However, one can watch the teaser and songs of the film.

The trailer shows Hania joining Diljit's character as a ghost hunter, who along with the latter, is on a mission to remove a spirit from a mansion in the United Kingdom. The movie promises to be a blend of comedy and horror with action scenes.
Diljit Dosanjh trolled for working with Hania Aamir
Netizens have slammed the Punjabi actor and singer for working with Pakistan actor Hania Aamir, amid the rising tensions between India and Pakistan after the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor.
One X user wrote, "When all Pakistani actors/actress are banned in India then why has Diljit taken Hania in his new movie. He spoke no words on pahalgam Attack and Operation Sindoor," while one called it a 'disrespect' to the country.
Earlier, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) requested the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to deny certification to the film as the movie several stars Pakistani actors.

Directed by Amar Hundal, the film also stars Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, Sapna Pabbi and others in important roles.
Sardaar Ji, which was released in 2015, was directed by Rohit Jugraj. The second instalment was released in 2016.
