MS Dhoni celebrated his 200th match as Chennai Super Kings captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a convincing 45-run win against Rajasthan Royals on Monday, courtesy sensational spells from Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja. The spin duo triggered a massive RR collapse to help CSK register back-to-back wins in the IPL 2021 in Mumbai. Put into bat by RR captain Sanju Samson, CSK managed 188/9 with Faf du Plessis top-scoring with 17-ball 33. Moeen (26 off 20), Ambati Rayudu (27 off 17) and Dwayne Bravo (20 off 6) made crucial contributions even as Chetan Sakariya (3/36) and Chris Morris (2/33) threaten to dominate the CSK line-up. RR started their chase on a confident note with Jos Buttler taking charge. But once the Englishman was out, bowled by a Jadeja beauty for 49 off 35, RR innings collapsed. Jadeja (2/28) and Moeen (3/7 in three overs) shared five wickets. Earlier, Sam Curran dismissed Manan Vohra and Samson. Catch highlights and cricket scores of CSK vs RR in Mumbai here:
