Formula 1 Mexican GP: Max Verstappen Takes 14th Win Of The 2022 Season With Faultless Drive In Mexico – In Pics

Red Bull protagonist Max Verstappen registered his 14th race win of the 2022 F1 season with a stupendous drive at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit in Mexico. The driver’s world champion started from pole position after an impressive qualifying on Saturday and at no point looked in any discomfort throughout the race. Mercedes did take the fight to Red Bull but couldn’t fight Verstappen’s speed. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton came second and home hero Sergio Perez was the last man on the podium. Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc finished fifth and sixth respectively. McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo finished an impressive seventh as McLaren got double points finish with Lando Norris securing the ninth place. Esteban Ocon was sandwiched in eight between two Papaya coloured cars and Valtteri Bottas was in the final points paying position.
