The Indian cricket team won its second Cricket World Cup in 2011. The team was led by MS Dhoni's. India's first World Cup win was in 1983 when the Kapil Dev-led team beat West Indies at Lord's. On April 2, 2011, Dhoni's India beat Sri Lanka by six wickets at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. Dhoni was the Man of the Match and Yuvraj Singh was the Man of the Tournament. India, Australia and the West Indies are the only teams to have won the ICC World Cup (50 overs) more than once.
