Kashmir Opinion Poll

Nearly two-thirds of the men and women polled said they were against the increase in Islamic fundamentalism. On the issue of imposition of burqa on Kashmiri women, only 2 per cent gave their complete approval, while 19 per cent gave it a somewhat grudging nod, leaving a whopping 79 per cent against. Through this poll, truth had slipped out of the bag like a cat.
