- United Liberation Front of Asom: Formed on April 7, 1979, by six youth for a "sovereign, socialist Assam". Arabinda Rajkhowa is its chairman and Paresh Baruah, commander-in-chief.
- The National Democratic Front of Bodoland: formed Oct 3, 1986. Objective: securing a sovereign Bodoland in the areas north of the Brahmaputra. Headed by Ranjan Daimary alias D.R. Nabla.
