Good news from Saudi Arabia Come December, Saudi Arabia will begin issuing visas to visitors interested in sports and cultural events. Till now visas were restricted to expat workers, their dependents and Muslims on a pilgrimage to the holy sites of Mecca and Medina. This is indeed a great news for international travellers who wish to explore the grand culture of Saudi Arabia. There will be online visa for easy accessibility. Focussing heavily on tourism, the kingdom will now open its doors to centuries-old historic sites, luxury resorts and pristine destinations for discerning travellers. From holy attractions like Al-Masjid-an-Nawabi, Kaaba, Grand Mosque to historic sites (Mount Arafat) and many museums, Saudi Arabia is a destination waiting to be explored.
