Tel Aviv is one of the most happening cities in the world. With the shortest direct flight to the capital of Israel launched last month, it's all the more reason to not miss out on summer vacations there. For music lovers, there is a massive bonus. There are music concerts by the dozen and being headlined by some of the biggest names in the industry. From Enrique to Ringo Starr, here's a list of concerts you can check out if you find yourself in Israel this summer
Enrique Iglesias (May 27)
Latin pop star and heartthrob Enrique Iglesias will play his fifth concert in Israel at Tel Avivs Yarkon Park. Iglesias last performed in Israel in 2015, and before that in June 2011 both times at the Menorah Mivtachim Arena.
Ringo Starr (June 23-24)
Recently knighted by the Queen of England, Beatles star, Ringo Starr will perform in Israel after 52 years. The Israel concerts will be part of a 21-day European tour and will take place in Tel Aviv on June 23 and June 24 at Menorah Mivtahim Arena. The Beatles legend will be accompanied by Steve Lukather of Toto, Greg Rollie of Journey and Graham Gouldman of 10cc.
Ozzy Osbourne (July 8)
The heavy metal has scheduled one performance for July 8 in Rishon LeZions Live Park where he will perform as part of his Farewell Tour. That's a concert you shouldn't miss out on.
The Scorpions (July 19)
One of the most successful band's of all times, The Scorpion are returning to Israel as part of their 'Crazy World Tour' to perform at Tel Avivs Menora Mivtachim Arena on July 19. The German band who started rocking the world in the 1960s, have played from heavy metal to hard rock, with their most successful hits being 'Wind of Change,' 'Still Loving You' and 'Rock you like a Hurricane.' They have sold more than 75 million records worldwide.
Ziggy Marley (July 31, August 1)
Bob Marleys eldest child, Grammy-award winning artist, Ziggy Marley will give two concerts this summer. The concerts, both in more intimate settings, are slated to be a celebration of the Caribbean beat that offer messages of peace and joy.
Jason Derulo and Rita Ora(August 1)
Two of the biggest names in pop and R&B music, will take to the stage at the Rishon LeZion Live Park on August 1 as part of the first ever Lollipop Summer Festival. Derulo, best known for his songs 'Talk Dirty','Wiggle,''Ridin Solo' and 'In My Head,' has sold more than 30 million singles over his decade-long career, and collaborated with the likes of Demi Lovato, Pitbull, Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez. Rita Ora, a British singer and actress and judge on The Voice and The X Factor in the UK, has hit the top of the UK charts with 'How We Do (Party)', 'R.I.P.' and 'I Will Never Let You Down'. Earlier this year she released 'For You' with Liam Payne, which has already been viewed almost 100 million times on YouTube.
