Hiking in Timna
The Timna Valley in the north of the town is where the worlds first copper mine is located. The area has been mined since the 5th millennium BCE and the sprawling landscape is striking with its majestic cliff tops. Once can hike to discover ancient treasures and take stunning images.
Wine discovery
Take a day trip from Eilat through the Negev Desert, between the city of Beer Sheva and the hilltop town of Mitzpe Ramon. The area has wineries and offers wine tasting for tourists. Dont forget to take the wine tour to experience local wines, cheese and olive-oil making.
