In the remembrance of this historic event, Germany is all set to organise a number of events around the city. There is an unusual exhibition that will focus on the mentality and cultural lifestyle in West Berlin. There are also bicycle tours and classic-car trips. The Deutsches Theater will have public readings, discussions, film screenings and theatre plays. One of the main highlights of the event is that a new temporary Berlin Wall is going to be built with 8,000 illuminated balloons along 15 kilometres of the former border between Bornholmer Straße and Oberbaumbrücke on November 9.
