Crypto Prices Today: Market Rises As Bitcoin (BTC) Pops 1.94%, Ethereum (ETH) Jumps 4.62%

The cryptocurrency market surged 3.43 per cent to $853.14 billion on Monday evening as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and other cryptos saw robust gains. The market’s trading volume also rose 119.21 per cent to $36.53 billion, according to Coinmarketcap.com at 4:50 pm.

Today’s top gainer was Zilliqa (ZIL), which rose 50.98 per cent, whereas the top loser was Gemini Dollar (GUSD), which was trading at $1 with a loss of 0.30 per cent in the last 24 hours to Monday evening.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: BTC rose 1.94 per cent to $17,269.34. Its highest intraday trading price was $17,276, and its volume increased by 95.35 per cent at $14,869,493,414. BTC traded in gains all through the day, with a 39 per cent share in the overall market in the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum’s price rose 4.62 per cent to $1,321.67 in the last 24 hours to Monday evening. ETH too was trading in gains, with an intraday high of $1,323. ETH’s trading volume rose by 158.50 per cent to $6,515,785,173.

Other Altcoins:

Solana’s (SOL) price increased by 22.01 per cent to $16.55 today.

Ripple (XRP) was up by 3.28 per cent at $0.3512 and its 24-hour trading volume was up by 136.88 per cent at $999,173,989.

Cardano (ADA) was up by 13.22 per cent to $0.3242. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume was uplifted by 287.33 per cent to $870,693,821.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin rose 9.01 per cent at $0.07832. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 224.89 per cent at $547.8 million.

Shiba Inu was up by 6.05 per cent to $0.00008941.

Decentralised Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) rose 6.80 per cent to $5,861.53. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 130.66 per cent at $29.02 million.

Avalanche (AVAX) was up by 5.30 per cent at $12.47 and its 24-hour trading volume rose by 167.95 per cent at $276.8 million.

Aave (AAVE) was trading with a gain of 6.11 per cent at $61.96 and its 24-hour trading volume uplifted by 34.35 per cent at $71.42 million.
