About Vanghat
Once in a while, you come across a place on earth that is untouched, unspoilt and undefined by any rules and norms of human civilization &ndash a place that is raw, honest and waiting for you to be your true self. Vanghat (jungle valley) is one such place and is one of the most remote wildlife resorts in the Corbett landscape, lying on a secluded bank of Ramganga river and accessible by a hike and a raft or a 4X4 vehicle.

Situated in a wilderness hotspot, it is an oasis of zen with a quietness that takes some time for urbanites to settle in to. The only interruptions would be by sambar deer alarm calls, the cacophony of cicadas or a brown fish owl's call from nearby. Vanghat lies close to the Kalagarh buffer zone of the Corbett Tiger Reserve and is nestled in the middle of the forest and well camouflaged, managing to be both welcoming and untamed. Staying so deep in the jungle means experiencing nature without interruptions. Expect to see barking deer loitering around, big and small cats leaving their tracks on the riverbank, yellow-throated martens playing in the trees or Golden Mahseers swimming upstream over rocky boulders.
