The Shimla-Delhi bus service has been resumed by the Himachal Road Transport Corporation from November 4. A press release from HRTC said that only five buses will run from Shimla to Delhi. These buses have been resumed for the festive season as several passengers need to commute between the two cities.
All necessary precautions are being taken to ensure a level of hygiene which will not be compromised amid the ongoing pandemic.
Passengers and staff members will be required to wear a mask and the buses will be sanitised regularly.
The Kalka-Shimla train, also known as the Himalayan Queen, and Kalka-New Delhi Shatabdi have also resumed their services. The Himalayan Queen will run from October 20 to November 30 for now.
