Asia’s most popular music festival, Sunburn is back in Goa this year. The popular EDM festival will take place from December 27 to 29 at Vagator. Due to the pandemic, there will be a whole set of rules and regulations inplace. For instance, only 20% of the venue capacity will be allowed. Previously, the concert used to be attended by over 300,000 fans.

These are Sunburn Goa’s COVID-19 rules:

  • Use of the Aarogya Setu app is mandatory.

  • Entry procedures include a temperature check, sanitisation and security check.

  • Wearing a face mask will be compulsory throughout the festival.

  • A negative COVID test may be mandatory, depending upon government regulations at the time.

  • Social distancing is to be maintained at all times. In the general category, each row will have multiple sections of 50 persons each with markings for people to maintain physical distance. Those in VIP sections will have their own private, designated space. Once you enter a section, you remain there through the day.

  • Entry permitted into the event as per time slots selected; no crowding at gates, toilets, F&B area or any other common areas.

The festival line-up is not out yet, but tickets will be available from November 4. This year, day-wise tickets won’t be available.

Tickets for the VIP section will be available in pods of 4, 6 and 8. The VVIP tickets, that is the Diamond and Platinum tables, will be available in pods of 8, 10, 12 and 15.

This year, the wristband system won’t be followed, neither will there be a box office on the day of the events. All those who are interested in attending the fest must book their tickets at least a week before. After booking the tickets will be delivered to the address of the concerned person.
