Known for their luxurious retreats, the Aman Resorts brand has an expansive reach in 20 countries with 32 resorts, hotels, and private residences. The brand is finally debuting its sister concern Janu (meaning 'soul'), which has been in the making for two years now.

Janu will launch with three hotels that are currently under construction Montenegro and Al Ula in Saudi Arabia and Tokyo (all in 2022). Janu Montenegro will be the first to be launched. Many forthcoming hotels are already in the pipeline. While Aman Resorts are known to focus on privacy, Janu hotels are attempting to provide a space for connecting with others.

The hotels will offer large guest rooms, dining spaces, lounges, and bar areas, as well as a gamut of culinary concepts, including mixologist-crafted cocktails. To encourage an environment of social wellness and interaction, the design of the brand will focus on contemporary options, emphasising space and light. Group classes will be provided for those who wish to interact with other guests. They have also invested in extensive hydro and thermal facilities for wellness experiences and treatments.

&ldquoWe saw a white space in the market, and we want to push the hotel industry into a new sphere," says&nbspchairman and CEO of Aman, Vladislav Doronin. "What with today&rsquos modern fast-paced society which has seen human connection and communication redefined by the digital world, we wanted to create a new hotel brand with a soul and with the aim of kick-starting human interaction again&rdquo.

The brand is mindful of their green footprint and has decided to approach the market with sustainable practices, from their operations to even their culinary facilities.
