Amanjena Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary

Century-old souks, enticing flavours and a unique blend of Middle Eastern influences, Marrakech is a colourful oasis and a magnet for visitors. Located away from the bustle of city life, Amanjena, Aman group’s first African venture, is a sprawling resort surrounded by majestic arches and lush palm trees. 

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Moroccan-inspired property. To commemorate the special occasion, the resort has put together a number of carefully curated events and experiences for its patrons to immerse themselves in the country’s rich cultural heritage. The celebration includes a host of wellness experiences. Guests can indulge at the Aman spa with a meditation session and a calming and balancing massage. Amanjena also offers the services of a resident fitness specialist with a workout session. 

Guests can also enjoy a one-hour drive to the Atlas Mountains that begins with a guided hike to the tiny village of L’Arbaa Tighdouine. Additionally, they can explore the ancient paths outside the mud-walled houses, observe rural life, and experience the hospitality of the local villages. 

Amanjena shall also host an anniversary cocktail evening, following which guests will be invited to enjoy a specially designed menu in one of the resort’s two restaurants. In order to celebrate the 20th year of its inception, they have started a new charitable initiative, Amanjena’s 20 Seeds of Joy, where guests are invited to help the local community and understand their inner workings by partnering with one of 20 different charities.
