It won’t be an exaggeration if we say that Nigella Lawson is a gamechanger in the gastronomical world. A household name for over two decades, Nigella Lawson is considered the world’s greatest home cook. Well, now her fans in India have the opportunity to taste her carefully curated recipes as the celebrated chef is coming to India as part of the ‘World Series’ presented by American Express.
She will be creating a quintessential London-themed bespoke culinary experience of a five course meal at The Chambers at Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai on September 14, 2019 and at The Roseate in New Delhi on September 15, 2019. The price? Rs 25,000 per person only for the dinner treat!
Nigella will curate a lunch as well but that is an exclusive American Express event.
American Express’ World Series aims to provide a platform to celebrate talent form across different fields like food, fashion, arts and business. While the first edition of the World Series was presented by renowned chef Daniel Humm, the second edition is being hosted by Nigella Lawson.
Manoj Adlakha, Senior Vice President and CEO, American Express stated that they aim to provide a memorable experience to their card members. He said “Our card holders are great gourmands and our partnership with World Series will provide them access to new and exciting culinary events.”
The most incredible part of the event is the fact is that Nigella Lawson does not own any restaurant. So the only way to taste the magic that she brews is through this experience.
