For the Love of Burgers with Nino

While the pandemic made us appreciate the outdoorsy dining life that we had taken for granted, we also kind of fell in love with just staying home and enjoying a good meal cuddled up in bed. Or is that just me?

Regardless, life changed and the concept of dining evolved to accommodate cloud kitchens that had long been on the scene but finally found their spotlight. Nino Foods, a chain of cloud kitchens with renowned brands like Nino Burgers, Francisco Pizzeria and Kudo Rolls, finally rolled out their popular Nino Burgers in Delhi and we got our hands on these gourmet offerings on a chilly weekend in the Capital.

Burgers are love, and if one thing is true, is that there is art to making the perfect juicy, saucy patty snuggled between soft buns. Nino Burgers, founded by Nishant Jhaveri and Pranav Mehta, does just that. From fresh and crispy chicken burgers to options for vegans, they have it all.

We first dug into their iconic crispy chicken burger, loaded with the goodness of a succulent patty, cheese and veggies (A quick shoutout to Nino for delivering crispy burgers to the other side of town without getting them soggy and squishy). It was the right kind of chewy, with the flavourful patty adding to the whole experience, topped with their in-house Sriracha Aioli and Pineapple Salsa. We wish it was a tad spicier, (and saucy) but when it comes to chicken burgers, it comes pretty close to perfection. 

You know what they say about burgers, right? The more, the merrier. Next to be had was Nino’s Spicy Buffalo Chicken Burger, which made up for whatever lack of spice we felt with the former. The Buffalo sauce is heavenly. The best part? All burgers come with dips - we sampled the sriracha and garlic dips that elevated these gourmet burgers to the next level. For vegetarians, Nino Shroom Burger, a crispy portobellow mushroom burger with extra generous helping of cheese, is a good way to go. We also tasted their Truffle Mac And Cheese Burger, which sent us into a cheese coma, before leaving us wanting more. 

We can’t forget the sides offered by Nino Burgers! Options are galore - Chips And Guacamole, Crinkle Cut Fries, Nino Onion Rings and more. But we went the meat way and found ourselves cleaning the box of crispy chicken popcorns (with peri peri no less) in record time. All in all, a good day for burgers and burger lovers.
