Ithaa, owned by Conrad Hotels has been built 16 feet below sea level and is the world’s first underwater restaurant. European cuisine served with an astounding view of exotic marine creatures, Ithaa might charge you a bomb but it’s totally worth the splurge.

An all glass underwater restaurant, 5.8 is exactly 5.8 metres below sea level and hence the name. 5.8 may not be the first underwater venture but it sure is a recent addition to a series of underwater villas at Hotel Hurawalhi.This restaurant accommodates around 10 tables and offers a view of the of the coral landscape. The menu not only includes a varied selection of meats and seafood but also manages to give you a taste of the local cuisine

Setting the record as Europe’s first and world’s largest underwater restaurant, ‘Under’ is built 5 metres below the North Sea. Opened in March 2019, this underwater restaurant has become a major tourist attraction in a short span of time. It can accommodate around 40 guests in its dining area. A meal at ‘Under’ may be a little heavy on the pocket but their elaborate 18 course meal makes up for it.
