Kerala: Southern Sojourns

Kerala has long been a tourist hotspot. The southern state knows how to keep its menu fresh every year. Kerala Tourism has come up with a bunch of exciting trails for visitors. The Kerala Adventure Trail includes activities like kayaking, river rafting, birdwatching, trekking and paragliding, along with the Malabar River Festival, which is an extreme adventure festival held in July. For foodies, there’s the Spice Route Culinary Festival, an ode to the eponymous 2,000-year-old maritime trade route. Art aficionados can look forward to the contemporary offerings of the next edition of Kochi-Muziris Biennale.
