G20 Employment Working Group Meeting Begins In Jodhpur

A panel discussion with focus on developing collaborative road map for global skills was organised on Thursday as part of the first Employment Working Group meeting under India's G20 presidency.

The meeting is being held at Jodhpur from February 2 to 4. The panel discussion focused on global trends on skill shortages, surpluses and mismatches, and deliberated on the means to plug these skills deficits. It also deliberated on development of a collaborative road map for global skills and qualifications harmonization, according to an official statement.

The discussion was chaired and moderated by Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the statement said.
