After a magnificent launch of the Apple BKC store in Mumbai, the iPhone maker’s CEO Tim Cook is all set to launch India’s second retail store – the Apple Saket store in Delhi. Ahead of the launch at 10 am today, people have lined up outside the Apple store in Delhi to ensure that they get a firsthand experience of the new hype in the city. On his this India visit, Tim Cook also met with Prime Minister (PM) Modi and committed to Apple’s services and experiences in India, especially creating more jobs.

Apple Store Delhi – Things To Know

  • Similar to Apple store in Mumbai, even Apple Saket boasts of a highly diverse team where people speak different languages and hail from different Indian states. As per official updates, the Apple Saket team consists of almost 70 people who belong to 18 different Indian states and can collectively speak 15 Indian languages. 
  • Apple’s Saket store reportedly takes inspiration from Delhi’s many gates that signify a new chapter to the national capital’s rich history. 
  • Just as many would have seen in the viral pictures, Apple Delhi store features a curve storefront with white oak tables that showcase many products and accessories like iPhone(s), AirPods, Macbooks etc.
  • The Apple Saket store in Select City Walk, interestingly, is also extremely environment-conscious. It reportedly runs on 100 per cent renewable energy and is also expected to be carbon neutral. 
  • The Apple experience in India may be true to its sense as the Saket showroom will also feature a ‘Genius bar’. As per official updates, Genius bar at the Apple store will be a one-stop place where customers can book an appointment for hands-on technical and hardware support.
