Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has announced the re-launch of renowned beverage brand Campa. The beverage range will include Campa Cola, Campa Lemon and Campa Orange in the sparkling beverage category. Reliance Consumer Products Limited is a wholly-owned FMGC subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL).
The launch of Campa is part of company’s plan to encourage indigenous brands which has both a rich heritage and deep-rooted connection with its consumers.
RCPL spokesperson said, “By presenting Campa in its new avatar, we hope to inspire consumers across generations to embrace this truly iconic brand and trigger a new excitement in the beverage segment. While older family members will have fond memories of the original Campa and cherish the nostalgia associated with the brand, younger consumers will love the crisp refreshing taste. With a rapidly evolving Indian market throwing up more consumption occasions, we are truly excited to bring back Campa, which is yet another bold step forward for our expanding FMCG business.”
Following the launch of the popular beverage, RCPL has diversified its FMGC portfolio which has different brands ranging from Lotus Chocolates to Sri Lanka’s famous biscuit brand Maliban. RCPL’s range also constitutes daily essential from its own brand Independence and Good Life.
Last year, in August, Reliance Retail announced that it will launch Campa around Diwali in its famous Cola flavor. In March 2022, RRVL reported a turnover of ₹ 199,704 crore ($ 26.3 billion) and net profit of ₹ 7,055 crore ($ 931 million).
