Mukesh Ambani's youngest son Anant Ambani is all set to marry Radhika Merchant, daughter of Shaila and Viren Merchant. The young couple had their 'roka' (engagement) ceremony on Thursday at the Shrinathji Temple at NathDwara in Rajasthan.
Following the engagement ceremony, the soon-to-be married couple took part in the traditional raj-bhog-shringaar ceremonies at the temple. Anant and Radhika have known each other for a few years now and they will tie the knot in the coming months.
Anant Ambani finished his education from Brown University and has been working at Reliance Industries in various positions since then. Radhika is a graduate of New York University and serves as a Director on the Board of Encore Healthcare.
On Wednesday, Mukesh Ambani had mentioned that his youngest son is being groomed to take over Reliance’s new energy business.
Speaking on the occasion of Reliance Family Day, Ambani said, “With Anant joining this upcoming Next-Gen business, we are making rapid progress in getting our Giga Factories in Jamnagar ready.”
