Jammu and Kashmir Panthers Party (JKPP) today warnedthe government against "compromising" on the country's boundaries or"citizenship" of the people of the state during the coming Indo-Paksummit and demanded Pakistan should vacate areas of the state under itsoccupation or hold plebiscite in those territories.

JKPP president Bhim Singh told reporters here his partywould organise a march from Raj Ghat to India Gate when Pakistani military rulerGeneral Musharraf visits India for talks to highlight the demand for vacation byPakistan of all the territories in Jammu and Kashmir occupied by it.

The march would be organised to ask Musharraf to eithervacate areas of Jammu and Kashmir under Pakistani occupation as envisaged in theUN resolutions or hold a plebiscite in those territories to ascertain theirviews about their future, he said.

Stating that the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK)and Northern Areas had never enjoyed democracy or rule of law, Singh demandedthe people on Jammu and Kashmir be allowed to travel to other side of the LoC toreduce tension.

Referring to the coming summit talks, he said"people of Jammu and Kashmir are worried that their citizenship may betraded" and asserted "the government should ensure that no compromiseis made on the boundaries or citizenship of the people of the state."Expressing doubts over any positive outcome from the talks, he said all theprevious agreements and efforts for peace had failed to yield any success.
