Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas president Ramchandra Paramhans has asked the Vajpayee government torespond positively by mahashivratri next year on the question of construction of ram temple atAyodhya failing which the Nyas would build the temple on its own.
"If the government fails to react positively by mahashivratri next year, ram bhakts will begin construction ofthe temple themselves," he told reporters in Chitra Koot today.
"We will be forced to take up the temple construction work on our shoulders," he said flaying the successivegovernments, including the Vajpayee regime, for creating hurdles in way of temple construction.
"Sometimes it is in the name of Hindu-Muslim sentiments, sometimes it is in the name of court order that templeconstruction is stalled. But now the patience of ram bhakts is exhausting,"Paramhans said.
