It is a very important discussion and this issue is linked with the nationalissue. It is very necessary for us. Kashmir is an integral part of India and thetalks to be held in this connection will be a good beginning.
The negotiation should continue and our party is in favour of such a thing.In the talks there should be no mediator and the negotiation should be heldwithin the ambit of Shimla agreement and the Lahore declaration. The question iswhy the Agra Summit failed? Had there been a clear-cut agenda in this regard,the talks would not have failed.
The President of Pakistan has invited the Hon. Prime Minister for furthertalks in this connection in Islamabad. Before visiting Pakistan the PrimeMinister should study the psyche of Pakistani President.

The President of Pakistan says that the Kashmir problem is related with theindependence of Kashmir. The further talks to be held in Pakistan should not bea failure like that of Agra Summit. Before going there we should have aclear-cut agenda in this connection.
If the President of Pakistan does not agree to the agenda, I feel that thePrime Minister should not visit that country and hold further talks. It shouldbe a very clearly written programme.
