In Turin, the former Real Madrid star scored two headers (27' and 49') either side of half-time and a late penalty (86') as Massimiliano Allegri' side entered the last eight at the expense of visiting Spanish side, which won the first leg 2-0.
Scoring his eighth hat-trick in the competition, the Portuguese ended the campaign of Diego Simeone's side which is known for churning out defensive masterpieces.

In the two remaining last 16 return leg fixtures, England's Liverpool visit Bayern Munich in Germany while Spain champions Barcelona host French side, Lyon tonight. Both the fixtures remain goal-less.
