Congress President Sonia Gandhi said her daughterPriyanka and son Rahul were interested in politics but were not willing at themoment to participate in active politics.
"Both my son and daughter are interested in whatgoes on around them and, naturally, in the politics of our country, but they arenot at the moment interested in participating actively in politics", Soniatold a press conference in Washington today.
Asked whether Priyanka will enter politics, Sonia said,it would entirely be her choice.
"It will not be mine. I have made my choice, myhusband made his choice, my son and daughter have been brought up in a fiercelyindependent way and it will be their choice. Whatever they want to do in thatline will be purely their choice", she said.

In reply to a question, Sonia said Priyanka supervisedher election campaign in Amethi and was "in touch with the constituency butmore at the level of helping children and women and not so much at the politicallevel".
