For a bomb, online websites in the UK are providing services to divorced Muslim woman in finding a stranger to marry, have sex with and divorce so that she can remarry her first husband, BBC reported.

The practice known as Nikah halala, accepted by a small minority of Muslims who subscribe to the concept of triple talaq, involves the woman marrying someone else, consummating the marriage and then getting a divorce - after which she is able to remarry her first husband.

The Sharia law to which a muslim woman is subjected to has grabbed the attention of some opportunists who are now charging divorced women to seek 'halala services' where they take part in temporary marriages, consummate it and then get divorced by the dummy husband, all in an attempt to save their marriage, says the report.

The report quotes a woman desperate to reconcile with her husband who had divorced her via a text message, saying 'talaq talaq talaq', practice banned in many Muslim nations but followed in India.  The woman had been trying to find men who would agree to marry her for the sake of 'nikah halala'.  Speaking to the BBC, she talks about its prevalence.

England is home to more than three million Muslims for the first time ever, new figures show. The number in the country has doubled in just over a decade as a result of soaring immigration and high birth rates.

"I knew of girls who had gone behind families' backs and had it done and been used for months.. They went to the mosque, there was apparently a designated room where they did this stuff and the imam or whoever offers these services, slept with her and then allowed other men to sleep with her too.", the report quoted her as saying.

Banking on the desperation and plight of such women, many advertise halala services. Speaking to one such man, the BBC reports that around £2,500 were charged from women  to have sex with him in order for the marriage to be "complete" - at which point he would divorce her.

Women seeking  farce marriages or 'halala services' face the risks of being sexually exploited, blackmailed or financially exploited.

The report cites the example of one man working for the 'service' who had initially refused to divorce the woman after the 'halala' was complete.

In June last year in India, many Muslim men supported the Bharatiya Muslim Mahila Andolan (BMMA) for the abolition of practices like triple talaq and nikkah halala which are known to strangle the rights of women.  Although the practice is banned in many Islamic countries, India still follows them.
