When he picked me up in Channel V’s Supersinger, I never thought he would actually call me. But I heard from him within four days and I was in Chennai recording Mylirage and Rubaru. It happened too quickly.
He never puts you down as a newcomer, treats you well. He is very encouraging. He has a vision and knows the art of taking it out from the artiste. The song gets better with each of the changes he brings in. It’s challenging and enjoyable to work with him.
He has courage and conviction. His songs have international sound but a soul in them. It pierces through your heart. The arrangements are fabulous. Everyone talks about how his music is all technology but crucial thing is how he uses it, gets the best out of it.
I love him as a singer. He is great in Rehna tu and Dil se.
