Mehbooba Mufti Speaks To Defence Minister, Expresses Anguish Over Death Of Two Civilians

After the killing of two civilians during army firing on Saturday at Ganowpora village of Shopian, in North Kashmir, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti spoke to Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and expressed anguish over the loss of lives in the incident.
The Defence Minister assured the Kashmir CM that she would seek a detailed report in this regard and assured  that such incidents will not occur in the future.
Earlier, the Chief Minister had directed the district administration to conduct a probe into the incident and come up with findings at the earliest.
Mufti has conveyed her sympathies with the bereaved families at a time when outrage is pouring over the killings. Condemning the incident, three top separatist leaders,  Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik called for a complete and statewide shutdown tomorrow.

They alleged the Army, CRPF and Police are hell bent upon "killing our youth in a well knit plan, irrespective of them being armed or unarmed".
A few days back a youth Shakir Ahmad Mir was also killed and two teenage girls were shot in their head forcing them to battle for their life at SIKIMS Soura.
