Jammu and Kashmir police says they have arrested main accused in the case of murder of eight year old girl in Kathua area of jammu.
The DGP S P Vaid told Outlook the police have arrested the main accused in the case. He, however, refused to disclose the name of the accused. "All I can say we have arrested the main culprit", he said.
The Women's Commission chairperson Nayeema Mehjoor, who visited the family, said that she was informed by the family that the eight year girl Aasifa was raped and murdered. The girl's body was found on Wednesday after seven days of her disappearance.
