The shiv sena today reiterated their claimed that Pakistan'sInter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Maoist insurgents were involved in theJune 1 royal palace massacre in Nepal.

Party spokesman Sanjay Nirupam told reporters here thatboth the Maoist insurgents and ISI agents were also engaged in anti-Indiaactivities.

He claimed that ISI involvement in Nepal could beproved by any independent inquiry into the massacre in which king Birendra, along with his wife and other family members, was killed.

The arrest of Yuvraj Ghimre has proved that Maoists areanti-Indian and the Nepal government is concerned about that, he said.

Nepali police arrested Ghimre after his newspaperpublished a statement of the Maoist supremo in which he alleged that Indianforces were behind the killings, he said.

China also wanted to capture Nepal, in a similar waylike Tibet, Nirupam said adding that was the reason why Beijing flooded itsgoods in the Himalayan kingdom before taking any major steps.

The sena leader said the people of Nepal were neveranti-Indians.
