As tensions escalated between India and Pakistan, many from both sides took to Twitter to urge for peace. #SayNoToWar became the top trending hashtag on the social media site.
Twitterati voiced concerns over the heightened tensions between the two countries as Pakistan Air Force jets on Wednesday entered Indian airspace and, and Indian jets chased them away. The Indian Air Force shot down a Pakistani F16, which came down in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, while Pakistan shot down an Indian MiG21 jet and captured an Indian pilot. The developments came a day after Indian fighter jets bombed a Jaish-e-Mohammad training camp in Balakot, Pakistan early Tuesday.

Many from Pakistan tweeted a video of captured Indian pilot Abhinandan.
