Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said that throughout his life he had struggled for the people and the country and wondered if that "made him a terrorist."
Kejriwal was reacting to BJP MP Parvesh Varma's incendiary speech in which the parliamentarian referred to Delhi chief minister as a "terrorist."
"BJP is calling me a terrorist. Throughout my life, I have struggled for the people, every day I try to work for the people and this nation. I have provided good education for our children. Does that make me a terrorist?" Kejriwal said.
The Delhi CM expressed anguish, saying he had taken the responsibility of families of soldiers, who sacrificed their lives at the border and yet he was getting called a "terrorist"

"Now, only the people of Delhi will decide if I am a terrorist or its son who ensured good schools and hospitals were constructed in the national capital," he said.
Speaking of his health, Kejriwal said: "I'm a diabetic, I take insulin four times a day. If a person with diabetes is on insulin and doesn't eat anything for 3-4 hours, they collapse and die. In such a situation, I have done a hunger strike against corruption twice, once for 15 days and then 10 days."
The BJP leader had said, "Lakhs of people gather there (Shaheen Bagh). People of Delhi will have to think and take a decision. They will enter your houses, rape your sisters and daughters, kill them. There is time today, Modi Ji and Amit Shah won't come to save you tomorrow..."

Verma, addressing an election meeting in Madipur Assembly constituency, said: "Kejriwal jaise natwarlal, Kejriwal jaise atankwadi is desh mein chhupe baithe hain(Natwarlals and terrorists like Kejriwal are hiding in this country.)"
On Wednesday, AAP filed a complaint with Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer against Verma demanding registration of an FIR against him for calling Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a "terrorist".
