As Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA was set to storm back to power at the Centre, his mother Heeraben Modi, smiling happily, greeted the media with a 'namastey' outside her residence in Gandhinagar.
She thanked BJP party workers outside her residence as supporters chanted "Har Har Modi", "Jai Jai Modi" and "Vande Mataram".
Heeraben, known as Hiraba, lives with her younger son Pankaj Modi.
On April 23, Narendra Modi, had taken time from his hectic campaign schedule, to meet his mother, before he cast his vote in Ranip area of Gandhinagar constituency.
He spent 10 minutes with his mother, during which Hiraba gave Modi a shawl of Goddess Mahakali from the Shakti Peeth of Pavagadh.
