Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 10 am today, the last day of the 21-day nationwide lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus, amid indications that the lockdown will be extended for 14 more days with some relaxations to boost the ailing economy. 

The Centre is likely to categorise the country into red, orange and green zones depending on the number of COVID-19 cases during the proposed extended period of lockdown and might allow limited services to function in the safe zones.

With more than 900 cases reported in the last 24 hours, the total number of coronavirus cases in India rose to 9,352 on Monday. The death toll due to the novel coronavirus pandemic rose to 324, as per Health Ministry's figures.
