Famous astrologer Bejan Daruwala passed away on Friday due to lung infection at a Gujarat hopsital. He was 89.
Daruwalla was put on ventilator in a private hospital in Ahmedabad after he complained of breathing difficulty.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani took to Twitter and expressed condolence.
"Saddened by the demise of renowned Astrologer Shri Bejan Daruwalla. I pray for the departed soul. My condolences. Om Shanti..." he tweeted.
Daruwalla had predicted victories of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Morarji Desai and Narendra Modi and even assassination of Rajiv Gandhi.
